Protecting, restoring and regenerating the marine ecosystem is the core mission of the South African non-profit organisation The Beach Co-op. To this end, The Beach Coop works closely with other marine conservation organisations, local authorities, and the business community to implement concrete educational measures to raise awareness of the need to care for and protect the coasts and ocean.
